Tick-Tock Tick-Tock
On Saturday, my hubby went out to the mailbox to find something from Walt Disney himself. Okay maybe not.. but some of his very close colleagues at Walt Disney world. We are leaving for Disney world in 32 days and I couldn't be more excited. I'm really not sure I have EVER been more in need of a vacation than right now. So when this thick envelope with our names and The Incredibles on the front came in I tore it open and there were baggage tags. I was so excited I said "LOOK DAVID ARE YOU EXCITED?!" and after having been with me for over ten years he's used to my ease of amusement and replied with a big goofy grin (as he has to really work at showing his excitement) "So excited." After sharing a laugh over my silliness I got to thinking about why I felt like I needed a vacation so badly. I think it's a personal issue of having trouble saying 'no'. Not sure where to draw the line of separating what really needs to happen and what is just white noise.
So, growth moment, I never want to feel this way again of needing a vacation so badly I literally hear the clock saying tick-tock tick-tock, and it still feels like forever away even though it's barely a month out.
Why is it that we allow people who either a.) we don't care for very much, b.) don't care about you, c.) have not real investment in your life.. the list could go on, why is it that we allow those people to dictate our lives and what should be important instead of investing that precious time in our family, or spouses, or close friends and the like. We as a society have lost sight of what is truly important and have given way to the greed for money, fame, fortune, and bosses who don't care. I truly believe that if we invested more time in our homes and in people instead of trying to make an extra buck (and believe me, I have a business to run so making money is important) but I also know it's not the most important thing. My faith is. My husband is. My family is. THOSE are the things that keep me warm at night and that I can count on beyond a shadow of a doubt. The money and career will fade in time as does all material things; but, my faith and my husband are the most important things, that will not fade, they are the reason for living.
Don't lose sight of Who is important, because in the end, everything else fades away and leaves you empty.
Happy Monday, ya'll; it's going to be a great week :-)

Food for Thought
HUMP DAY! Happy Wednesday!
I always have a lot of thoughts; in fact, it's quite exhausting to be in my brain sometimes because it is always so all over the place. I actually had a hard time getting rolling this morning. Normally I am up at 6 or before to go run or workout and this morning I didn't wake up until almost seven which in turn made it very difficult to get rolling. So, until I get my thoughts together and myself lined out, here are some inspiring thoughts that certainly got me thinking today...

Happy Monday!
Today was one of those days that I had so much work to do I got up before 6 and went for my run then came home and immediately logged onto my computer and now it's 5:00 and things got so busy I've barely gotten dressed but thank goodness my nails look great, right?
I really am super excited about the TruShine Gel that Jamberry will be releasing on September first. One thing that has always annoyed me is how much it was to go to the salon to get your nails looking presentable. I mean before Jamberry came into my life I was going to the salon twice a month to get gel or acrylic plus a pedi once a month and every time I swiped my card I left mad because half the time they didn't really look like I wanted them, but to ask them to re-do or fix it would cost more. Okay, soap box over... ANYWAY, when I went to conference and Jamberry Home office announced that they had be working over a year on this and were finally ready to release 5 Free at home Gel I was over the moon. So you're telling me, that I can have salon gel nails AT HOME and I can offer it to my customers... YES, that's exactly what they were saying. Okay so I started thinking let's do some math, is this really better? Take a look at the yearly math.....
Holy cow! I mean, I don't know about you, but there's a lot of things I can do with almost $470 in savings. Kay? Kay. The picture above is a picture of my own nails with the TruShine Gel over Wraps. No, that is not polish, that is a Jamberry nail wrap with Gel over it. Take a look and another example of our TruShine Gel over Wraps.
Excited yet? Me too. Time to start saving money. Want to split up the payment and not be out $120 up front? Visit my website, ambergeorge.jamberry.com and grab a $60 gift card, check out and a code will be sent to your e-mail; then on September 1, go grab the TruShine System and at check out apply that code and voila! You're on your way to have toxic free gel nails at home.
